Love is in the air ...

It's officially February in NYC and everything is red and pink as far as the eye can see. This is maybe my 3rd year celebrating Solotine's Day instead of Valentine's Day. With social media ramping up to go on their yearly divide with VDay approaching... I'm planning my perfect Solotine's Day which happens to be a few days before my first trip of 2024.

With that said, here are some of my favorite things to do if you happen to not a smitten kitten this year:

Buy yourself a card and chocolates! Extra points if you get flowers as well. One thing I've learned in my twenty-something years on this planet is that you attract a little bit of everything, but when you focus on what it is that you really want .. you'll get it!

Put on a Rom Com! I find it oddly satisfying to watch romantic comedies solo. Finding that inner peace within yourself that allows you to be alone and not lonely is magical <3

Make it a Beauty Day! It's no secret that the better you look, the better you feel, the better you behave. Going to the spa, getting your lashes done; mani/pedi -- whatever it is that picks you up and makes you feel like your best self. I'll be getting my lashes done because waking up a bad b#tch is always on my to-do list.

Take yourself on a date! Now this may be a bit much for some of us. It personally took me a little bit to get accustomed to dating myself publicly but I'm hot so if I can't date me .. how can I expect anyone else to? If you're into the "solo-date", try a new restaurant! If you're in NYC like me, there are tons of places doing over-the-top decor and fancy drinks. Enjoy babes!

Whether you're alone, with the gals or your special person this year -- don't forget that you are a special someone too! Valentine's is a day of love, so make sure you show some to yourself as well.
